Broker/President, Wingate & Associates

A professional Real Estate Broker with more than 16 years of experience in the luxury and general real estate sales market, Kathleen Wingate was an award-wining agent with a large national real estate corporation when she left in 2003 to open Wingate & Associates. A full-service, independent real estate company now headquartered in the Palm Harbor area of Tampa Bay, the company offers an expanded range of capabilities including residential sales, commercial sales, and property management and leasing.

Wingate & Associates was named one of the Top 25 Real Estate Companies, based on sales volume, in the Tampa Bay Region by the Tampa Bay Business Journal for 2010 and 2011 and also named one of the 75 Top Woman Owned Businesses for 2012 by the same journal. Ms. Wingate consistently ranks among the top sales agents in the Tampa Bay region. In addition to being a Broker member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Florida Association of REALTORS®, and the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, she is also a member of the National Association of Homebuilders and has served as an invited guest speaker for the Sales and Marketing Council.

She has completed advanced training offered by NHAB including the certification coursework including Understanding Housing Markets and Consumers, Marketing Strategies, Plans and Budgets, and The Challenge of New Home Sales Management. In 2008, she completed the prestigious Dyan Dobbyn Management and Business Systems in Alexandria Virginia, an elite training workshop for real estate office managers, owners and brokers. Attendees are provided with the finest management training and sales tools available in the real estate industry.

In 2011, Wingate & Associates acquired a mid-sized property management company and now leases and/or manages 400+ residential properties per year.
