After graduating from the University of Pittsburg with a degree in pharmacy, Mary moved to the Bay Area where she has enjoyed living for over thirty years. Since entering the real estate business, Mary has demonstrated exceptional ability in the field. She has been a top producer for many years and has achieved a sales volume in residential real estate on the Peninsula in excess of 1.9 BILLION DOLLARS. In the years 1999-2008 she averaged over $100,000,000 per year. In 2005 her sales volume was $207,850,629 and she was recognized in the Wall Street Journal as the Number Two agent in the United States. In 2007, with a sales volume of $260,000,000, she was once again named the #2 Residental Real Estate Salesperson in the nation.
In 2005 Mary was proud to be joined in her business by her son Brent. Brent grew up in Palo Alto, attending Phillips Brooks School and Menlo School before going to the University of Arizona where he graduated with a degree in Economics. After working at Wachovia Securities in San Francisco, he partnered with Mary at Alain Pinel. In addition to selling residential real estate, Mary and Brent have just completed a development project of four townhouses in Menlo Park. Brent and his wife Stacy are proud parents of the newest addition to the Gullixson family, Conrad Ethan.
In 2006 Mary and Brent were recognized in the Wall Street Journal as the #9 Team in the Top 50 Real Estate Teams in the United States with a dollar volume of $205,895,550. Their sales volume in 2007 exceeded $260,000,000. They represent buyers and sellers in the San Francisco Peninsula towns of Atherton, Woodside, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto and Menlo Park, where they have sold some of the areas' landmark and most notable estates.
