Median Sale Prices Increase 13% in Highlands, NC Year-Over-Year

Both the median sale price and the average sale price increased year-over-year for the Highlands, NC residential real estate market in June 2024. 

According to the June 2024 Market Report from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices report, the residential real estate market in Highlands NC experienced a 13% increase in the median sale price compared to June 2023, to $1,125,100 in June 2024. The average sales price also increased 3% to $1,392,746.

There are 150 active listings. 87 sold listings in June 2024, a 13% increase compared to June 2023. The average days-on-market decreased 14% to 121. The list-to-sale ratio for June 2024 increased 3% to 95.47% compared to June 2023.

Cashiers, Glenville, and Sapphire also experienced year-over-year price increases. The median sale price increased 20% compared to June 2023, to $975,000. The average sale price increased by 34% year-over-year, to $1,504,933 in June 2024.

There were 190 active listings and 152 sold listings in Cashiers, Glenville, and Saphire in June 2024. The average days-on-market was 133, a 1% increase year-over-year. The list-to-sale ratio decreased 1% compared to June 2023.
