A long time love for the beauty and preservation of historic, century homes led Libby and her family to Prince Edward County in 1971 when they purchased a farm and restored the beautiful 1864 stone house; the lynchpin of her career in real estate.
Weekends, summers, and holidays were spent enjoying the many pleasures of County life - swimming at the Sandbanks, boating, fishing, golfing, sailing, browsing antique shops, visits to artist galleries, viewing live theatre, and “tasting” delicious County fare at the burgeoning wineries and fine restaurants.
Totally enamored with life in The County, the decision was made to complete the move. Libby left her position as Administrator of St. Clement’s School in Toronto to begin a new career in the County. Her success in the field of education has since been superseded by her success in real estate.
Libby is a friendly, sincere, knowledgeable and resourceful person. Her tireless efforts go beyond her work in real estate to support the community in which she lives. She is a member of the Prince Edward Construction Association and a sponsor of the Regent Theatre, the Jazz Festival, Art in the County and the Studio Tour.
Libby's conviction to preserve and maintain the remarkable homes of Prince Edward County has naturally evolved to promote the region's history and heritage by sponsoring two History Moments video vignettes. These vignettes are shown at the Regent Theatre, in museums, libraries, and on Cogeco TV.
These exceptional qualities are the basis for her success - in real estate and in life.
