The Heart of the Ranch
This exceptional property was the heart of the historic Crescent H Ranch. Previously Tract 16 served as the headquarters for guest services and fly-fishing guides at Crescent H. Now, no longer operated as a guest ranch, Tract 16 provides the perfect setting for a residence or family compound. The 53 acre property offers the quintessential Rocky Mountain setting with open wildflower meadows, pond, aspen and evergreen forests and mountain views at every turn. Several buildings are included with the property as well as two entitlements allowing for the addition of a significant residence. The entitlements allow for a total of 16,000 sq. ft. of habitable space on this property (20,000 sq. ft total). The lodge with the Liar’s Den are considered to be part of the entitlements.
The Lodge The inviting and warm Lodge, built in 1927 and upgraded most recently in 2008, was once North America’s original Orvis endorsed fishing lodge. The classic 3,320 sq. ft. western lodge boasts one of the valley’s most attractive great rooms with exquisitely comfortable sitting and dining areas positioned around the many windows and two stone fireplaces, a commercial kitchen, 2 bathrooms, lots of storage and expansive covered porches overlooking the mountains and the pond.
The Liar’s Den
The 2,158 square foot Liar’s Den, once the headquarters for the Ranch’s world-class fishing program, today is a charming 3 bedroom, 3 bath residence on the pond with a cozy living and dining areas, kitchen, wood floors, cozy pot belly, central air conditioning, and covered porches.
Two Rustic Guest Cabins
Two quaint log cabins (750 and 800 square feet) are nestled into a forested hillside. These cabins are furnished bedroom suites with a private bathroom and a cozy fireplace.
Tract 10, 35 acres adjacent to the south, provides a wonderful site for a barn or out-building and offers great conservation potential.
