One of New Brunswick’s most unique homes; a magnificent mansion radiating charm, status & graciousness coupled with a lifestyle of true comfort. Your fairytale mansion awaits in the beautiful resort town of St. Andrews-By-the-Sea. Referred to as “Hillcrest”, this attractive early 20th century mansion sits on approximately five acres and is a true St. Andrews masterpiece.
Constructed in 1905 this enchanting estate was built by Edward & William Maxwell for the C.P.R executive C.R. Hosmer. It truly is a majestic building, a classical Georgian design with playful period architectural details. This home has played host to many parties for friends, families & dignitaries, and the house has appeared in many publications.
Take a moment to stand at an upstairs window and look out over the lawns, suburban houses, a panoramic ocean view. With more than 6000 square feet of living space, a modern kitchen, 8 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and room after room of exquisite craftsmanship it is difficult to imagine a building any more suited to corporate or personal life.
In addition to the mansion the spacious lawns and perennial gardens provide a perfect setting for quiet conversation or elegant entertaining. The open area accentuates the beauty of the property and buildings.
