Pat Allen is a Macon, GA native and moved to Highlands in 1994 to open the Morning Star Inn, fulfilling her dream of being an innkeeper. Her husband, also named Pat, was an oral surgeon in Macon and Warner Robins, GA before retiring to Highlands. Pat was an interior designer and writer, having written two books, ''Husbands May Come and Go But Best Friends Last Forever'', and a best selling cookbook, ''Whisk Upon A Star'' (which a portion is donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation). Pat has worked with notables, Chef Tell in the Cayman Islands and Paula Deen of the food network's, Paula's Home Cooking Show, as well as being a food critic and columnist for the Macon Telegraph. She is dedicated to her clients and uses her design and marketing skills to accomplish their real estate goals. My commitment to you:
