BIOGRAPHY

William (Billy) Keyserling is a native "Beaufortonian" who worked as a public affairs and marketing communications executive in Boston and Washington, D.C. before returning home to enter real estate.

While he knows historic properties, of which he owns three in the downtown Historic Landmark District, Keyserling also works with buyers and sellers of large tracts of land and estates. Billy is known to bring buyers together with design and construction professionals to build new houses when existing properties are not suitable.

Keyserling is a principal in Village Renaissance, Inc and Beaufort Land Company, LLC.

A former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, Keyserling remains active in the community. Current assignments include board membership of the Beaufort Marine Institute, the S.C. State Arts Alliance, the Arts Council of Beaufort County, The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry and the Board of Realtors.

Keyserling received an MS degree from Boston University's College of Public Communication and a BS, Magna Cum Laude, from Brandeis University.
