BIOGRAPHY

Dora Puig began her high-end real estate career over 26 years ago in single-family luxuryhomes in Beverly Hills before returning to South Florida where she is currentlyresponsible for over $2,258,669,000 in residential and condominium sales. Puighas been recognized by her peers as one of the most successful salesprofessionals in Miami-Dade County, setting and exceeding numerous residential sales records and serving as the top producing broker at several developmentsincluding Apogee South Beach with $82 million in total Sales Volume. Puig wasrecognized by The Wall Street Journal's "Real Trends" industryrankings for achieving the position of No. 6 in America and No. 1 in Floridafor Individual Sales Volume for 2016. She currently owns and operates thehigh-end boutique real estate firm “Luxe Living Realty” with 2 prime locationsin South Beach. The flagship property lounge is located in the renowned LincolnRoad district with an additional location in the ultra-luxurious South of FifthStreet neighborhood.  

Puig has consistently placed in the Top 10 Selling Real Estate Brokers inMiami-Dade County for the past 5 years. In 2016, Puig ranked No. 1 in TotalDollar Volume of Closed Sales with $363,528,000 for all residential propertieswhich includes single family homes and condominiums in Miami-Dade County, aswell as she ranked No. 1 in Condominium Total Closed Sales by Volume with$323,378,000. In 2013, Puig was the No. 1 Top Selling Broker in South Beach forall properties sold. She was also the No. 1 Top Selling Condo Real EstateBroker in all of Miami Beach and the No.1 Top Selling Condo Real Estate Brokerin Bay Harbor that year. In 2012, she also broke the record for the highestrecorded sale ever for a single family home in Miami for the sale of 41 ArvidaParkway in Coral Gables for $25 million.

She also holds the record for the highest total sale price of a unit on FisherIsland with the $35 million sale of Penthouse 2 at Palazzo Del Sol in February,2015. In addition to leading her general real estate boutique brokerage, Puigcurrently serves as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the $1 Billionsellout of the 2-phased development Palazzo Del Sol, Fisher Island….and soon tobe launched Palazzo Della Luna. There, Puig leads a team of six talentedmulti-lingual in-house sales executives in selling 43 residences ranging from3,800 to 9,800 square feet with pricing from $6.5 to $35 million. She was alsothe No. 1 Top Selling Condo Real Estate Broker in Miami-Dade in 2016 with$323,378,000 in sales.

The full-service, waterfront, luxury, boutique condominium will command a $500million sellout which was completed in March 2016. Puig has also served asDirector of Sales and Marketing for other prestigious condominium projectsincluding Bristol Tower, Santa Maria, The Residences at the Bath Club, TheAstor Home Condo-Hotel project in South Beach and Riva Bay Harbor.

Puig startedout in 1989 as a real estate associate for two of Beverly Hills’ biggest andbest real estate luxury brokerage houses. She first worked at Fred Sand’sEstates in the Elite Director’s Office, and subsequently at Jon DouglasRealtors in its Estates Division, specializing in the high-end luxury singlefamily home market. In addition, she acted as a consultant to several single-familyhome developers who bought properties to renovate, reposition and resell. In1995, Miami-developer, Ugo Colombo, brought Dora to Miami, Florida to close outthe last $15 million in sales and run the re-sale division of his 40-story,luxury Bristol Tower condominium project.

After BristolTower was sold out, Dora continued working for Mr. Colombo and his company, CMCManagement Group, as Director of Sales & Marketing for the highlysuccessful, 54-story ultra-luxury Santa Maria condominium development. Inaddition to managing the in-house sales team and office, Dora oversaw allaspects of Santa Maria, from conceptual design to marketing, public relationsand advertising. There, she sold and closed over $150 million of the SantaMaria’s developer sales.

In 1998, Dora began working for Miami-based Fortune International Realty.During 2000 and 2001, Dora, with over $45 million in sales per year, wasrecognized as the company’s top sales producer out of its 300 agents. At thetime, Fortune International Realty did approximately $800 million in salesannually in South Florida.

In 1999, Dora also performed real estate marketing consulting services forLaSalle International Group, a Chicago-based real estate development firm. Sheadvised them on all development aspects, including design, construction,marketing and public relations matters for their twin 50-story tower, LaSalleApart Hotel & Spa, which was to be located in the heart of Miami’s BrickellVillage. A project ahead of its time, LaSalle Apart Hotel & Spa, wasinstead shelved when the land was sold by the developer for twice its value.

In 2001, Dora became the Director of Sales and Marketing for the super luxuryoceanfront condominium development The Residences at The Bath Club. Shesuccessfully sold out the project with $243 million in sales for the developerand its equity partners CSFB by the end of 2005. Besides building and managingthe in-house sales team, she also managed a marketing and media budget of over$5 million. In 2006, Dora launched her own boutique Brokerage firm, PuigWernerReal Estate Services, LLC specializing in high-end single family & luxurycondominium sales. She coupled her talents as the company's top producer withconsulting services for leading developers in projects such as the AstorHomeCondo-Hotel development in South Beach.

In 2013, Dora was brought in by Fort Capital Management to serve as Director ofSales and Marketing for Riva Bay Harbor, a boutique, contemporary, 25-unitcondominium building featuring large 3- and 4-bedroom floorplans, located onBiscayne Bay in Bay Harbor Islands. After putting together an exceptional LuxeLiving Realty sales team, Dora officially launched the Riva sales effort in May2013. She and her Team became the market-makers of Bay Harbor Islands LuxuryCondominium market by doubling the closed sales Price per Square Foot for thearea’s condominium market. They completed a record $40 million sellout byFebruary 2015. This included posting the highest recorded condo sale to date inBay Harbor Islands for $3.4 million ($1,000 PSF).

Dora earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance andMarketing from the University of Miami and an MBA in International Businessfrom George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Fluent in English,Spanish and Italian, Dora is an active member of the Master Broker Forum.

Dora currently serves as the president of the board of the Marea luxurycondominium homeowners association in South Beach. She is a founding member ofthe Women of Tomorrow Mentoring Organization and sits on the host committee forthe Brazil Foundation. For outstanding business success, entrepreneurial visionand overall achievement, Dora was selected to be part of the NationalAssociation of Professional Women (NAPW). Her standard of excellence,leadership and commitment to the advancement of women along with her inspiringindustry ideals and outstanding professional success are honored with herstatus as a VIP Professional Woman of the Year.
