BIOGRAPHY

Both in golf & real estate, skill alone will only take you so far. True success is lies in local knowledge.

Any golfer will tell you that on the course, it’s essential to know your surroundings. Possessing a familiarity with how the prevailing wind affects a hole or how a putt will break on a green can make the difference between birdie and bogey. Scott Lincicome couldn’t agree more. As a former professional golfer who competed on the mini tours and served as a club professional, Scott possesses an intimate familiarity with many of the country clubs, golf courses and communities throughout the Southern Pines region.

It’s this in-depth local knowledge and connection with influential people that makes Scott such a valued resource in Southern Pines and Pinehurst real estate. But that’s not all that makes Scott a good guy to know.

As a former mini-tour competitor and club professional, Scott Lincicome is an unrivaled resource when it comes to the staff, the membership and the intricacies of various country clubs and golf courses throughout Southern Pines and Pinehurst.

A Rich Heritage of Success

Scott’s home course is the Country Club of North Carolina, where his grandfather was a founding member of the club. Scott was raised in Atlanta but spent a lot of time with his grandparents in Pinehurst, learning not only the finer points of golf, but life lessons in general. When he was four years old, he recalls his father and grandfather presenting him with “an old sawed-off club,” and Scott quickly fell in love with the game.

The Spirit of Adventure

It wasn’t until Scott spent time living in Aspen, Colorado, however, that he pursued golf professionally. In the mid-’90s he was a standout snowboarder who was even featured on a segment of Good Morning America profiling that rapidly growing sport. Scott played golf in his free time and his playing partners would often tell him he should pursue the game professionally. It was also here that Scott met his wife, Marcy. They married in 2000 and started a family that now includes three children.

A “Driving Force” in Real Estate

As a co-owner of HSP Realty Group, Scott excels at assessing his clients’ needs and tailoring his service to their individual goals. For buyers, he’s an expert at matching your lifestyle to the perfect community. If you’re interested in a golf property, he’ll pinpoint the ideal country club for your game.
